Training your engineers remember.Records your auditor accepts.
Brainjoo Karmika takes the manuals and syllabi you already hold under licence and turns them into structured courses, exams, a tutor that answers only from your own pages, and training records built for audit. Your nominated person approves every page. The system never writes a maintenance procedure.

How it works
-
Load your approved source
An AMM chapter, a Part-66 module, a regulation, your own course notes. It stays your copy, under your licence. The original source remains unchanged; reviewed learning materials are created from it within your organisation’s licensed use.
-
Get the course back, structured the way the regulation expects
Chapters in ATA order, objectives at levels 1 to 3 as in Part-66, an exam bank tied to the pages it tests, and a tutor that answers only from your pages and shows the page it used.
ATA order: the aircraft-systems numbering every manual uses, so ATA 29 is hydraulic power in any manual on any type.
-
Make it stick
Case studies built from public accident reports, short videos, audio recaps for the drive home, and quizzes that come back after a day, a week and a month until the knowledge stays. Brainjoo Karmika brings the same topic to life through comics, learning games, podcasts and more, with Guru to explain and Testera to check understanding.
-
Approve, deliver, record
Your training manager signs off every page before an engineer sees it. Engineers train on a phone or a desktop, in the hangar or at home. Every completion lands in a record with the revision used and the expiry date.
One source. More ways to understand it.
Brainjoo Karmika turns dense source material into different learning experiences—not just a shorter document. Explore a concept in a comic, practise it in a quiz or learning game, watch a short video, or revisit it through a podcast or audio recap. The aim is clearer understanding and learning people enjoy returning to.
- Comics and illustrated scenarios: follow a situation visually, with concepts explained in context.
- Quizzes and learning games: practise recall, explore choices and receive feedback.
- Short videos: focus on one topic at a time.
- Podcasts and audio recaps: revisit the explanation in a conversational, easy-to-follow format.
These are reviewed learning aids, not substitute maintenance instructions. Procedures, limits and task steps remain in the approved source manual.
Ask Guru. Get a simpler explanation.
Guru is the learning tutor. Ask what a document means, what a passage is saying, or why a concept matters. Ask follow-up questions and request another explanation whenever something is unclear.
Guru explains in plain language, drawing on your approved material and pointing back to the relevant source. The learner can move from “I read it” to “I understand it”, without treating a conversational explanation as an instruction to perform maintenance.
Testera checks. Guru helps. Testera checks again.
Start with an understanding check
Testera asks questions first to establish what the learner already understands and where they need help.
Turn a wrong answer into a learning moment
When an answer reveals a gap, Guru explains the relevant topic in simple language. The learner can ask questions, clarify the confusing point and explore another example.
Check understanding again
Testera reassesses the topic after that explanation. Completing a page is not the same as demonstrating understanding; this loop makes the difference visible.
Learning checks support your training programme. They do not replace an authority-required examination, practical assessment or your organisation’s approval responsibilities.
Three things your authority will ask about
The manual stays the source of truth
The system organises, explains, quizzes and records. It never authors a procedure, a limit, a torque value or a test step. Those are read from your manual, on the page the engineer is sent to.
Every page is traceable
Each page carries its source document, page number and revision. When you load a new revision, every page built from the old one is flagged for review and held back until your nominated person clears it.
Records answer the auditor's first question
Who was trained, on what, when, from which revision, and when it expires. Continuation training on its two-year cycle, type training by level, all in one export.
Who it is for
- Part-145 organisations starting a training division
- Part-147 schools adding online delivery to classroom courses
- Operators and airlines running their own continuation training
- Business-jet operators with a mixed fleet and a small training team
It is not a Part-147 approval, an instructor, or a type course in itself. Approvals belong to your organisation, under your exposition and your authority. Brainjoo Karmika is the system your exposition describes: how the material is delivered, examined and recorded.
What the record looks like
| Engineer | Module | Completed | Revision | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| A. Berger | Human factors, continuation | 14 Mar 2026 | Rev 12 | 14 Mar 2028 |
| M. Hofer | EWIS, continuation | 02 Jun 2026 | Rev 9 | 02 Jun 2028 |
| S. Reyes | Fuel tank safety, phase 2 | 21 Sep 2026 | Rev 5 | 21 Sep 2028 |
| J. Novak | Hydraulic power, ATA 29, level 2 | 09 Nov 2024 | Rev 42 | Due in 30 days |
Example record with invented names. Your export carries every engineer, every module, every revision and every expiry in one file.
See it on your own material.
A 30-minute walkthrough on your documents, no slides. We load one chapter you choose and explore the learning formats, ask Guru questions, see Testera check understanding, and review the training record.
